The relief of some pressure

Soon, I'm going to be leaving my job to go to Maryland and get married. I think my boss knew this, because last week she approached me with a basic "what will it take to keep you here?" Which was flattering, to say the absolute least. But still, we had made our decision, and we were going to Maryland ( Read more... )

Working at home can be ultra-distracting. When it comes time for me to write, I go to the coffee shop, or write on my balcony.

Oh yeah Red. I think one of my stipulations is to sign an agreement that I'll have a "conducive work environment." So... no computer right next to the TV, for example. I tend to be pretty good at self-managing that stuff, but if it gets to be a problem, I would probably look for escape.
