Okay so here's what's going on in Stevetopia lately. Last Monday (Labor Day), I was having a pain in my gut, but it didn't bother me too much. I mean, I even went and worked outside (not by choice), so that'll tell you how mild it was. I mention to my mom, "My colon hurts", but that's about it. I figured it was probably my bowels becuase I've have

I had about the same problem with my gall bladder. It took them nearly ten months to diagnose it, and then I had to go to the emergency room twice in a row before they realized it was serious. The day of my surgery, the doctor came in five or six hours later than he should have, and the day after, he wasn't there to prescribe me my pain killers (we ended up calling him and he faxed us a prescription).

My surgery was done the same way, except I have five scars from it instead of three.

And my morphine didn't make the pain go away. :(

I concede defeat to you. Our situations were eerily similar, but yours was oh so worse.
