I hope you wrote and pointed out that 9/10 and 8/10 are a very long way from 1/9 and 1/8.

I do despair sometimes with media. I remember when one report talked about 50% and then immediately explained that that was 1 in 2.

Well it does say "over 1 in 9". Perhaps they really meant to say "an enormously huge amount over 1 in 9"??? :-)
