The CAID got raided early saturday morning.  My drummer and I both got our cars stolen by the detroit police and we owe a lot of money so we're probably going to put together some fundraiser shows for this.

We've also got a show at the fair at Gibraltar Trade Center from 8pm-10pm this Saturday.  See y'all there.

You guys should stop talking about all this in this type of forum (and all the other blogs/forums/etc.). It's better for your case.

I was told everyone should contact info@thecaid.org for more information on how to band together with other people who were there that night and for future action.

Blogging will do nothing bad for their case. Anonymous internet babbling/ranting/whatevering is hearsay man. shit ain't admissible. If anything, people should hear about this because the news certainly hasn't picked up the story yet.

Was this even featured on the news at any point? It's shitty that the first place i hear this is in someones blog on livejournal. If that isnt a huge case of police brutality I dont know what is.

They've got some lawyers that are going to represent the case free of charge from what I've heard. This is some fucked up shit, and I'm thankful that when I was there the last time they "raided" it, I didn't get in this kind of trouble.
