Glad to hear that it's not completely disastrous. It's an unbelievable shame about the tabards, but at least something similar can be got again, if not with the same history and personal associations. I hope the police catch the pricks that did it, and that your insurance aren't whingy and stingy about paying up.

My mums a dab hand with a sewing machine. If we buy the material for her, and give her something for her time, I'm sure she can put something together. Not sure how long it would take though. I still have the Knight Captains tabard. Does anyone else have any of the originals?

Hope they get the little shits...

If the insurers give you any gip, let us know and we'll come round with baseball bats *grin* Same goes if you find the little pricks that did it...

As for PBs tabards, I have an original, there are a few floating around Notts and didn't Alan have the other bodybag with half a dozen in? There is a store in the market here that does the identical blue and gold materials, we can do a sewing day and get a few more made.

No, I'm afraid Alan and I don't have any of them. But I think we gave them to Fizaratan, so they may still be safe

Yes, I've got the other body bag; with both dress tabards, one amber lance, and three lanceman. There's another half-dozen or so lanceman tabards with various people, which we'll be doing our best to collect together for the Games. We've lost all the original sergeants' tabards, though, and I think about 6 or 7 lanceman tabards.

well i hope they get whats coming to them.

Gold pah maybe talk to lt explain what happened (maybe just maybe you will get lucky? doubt it but worth a shot.

I have a sewing machine i can drop of to Gill and daves place st some point for a kit making weekend that i don`t mind people using (as long as i get back in the nick i leave it!) i don`t use it much.
