[This probably needs to be said.. so OOC post]
[I'm sure most of you have heard about Stevie's eye injury. If not, I'll fill you in. During yesterday's game against Calgary Steve was struck in the face by a puck. He was taken to the hospital and spent four hours in surgery, including having a metal plate inserted in his face. He suffered several fractures of the oribital bone and a scratched cornea. They say he is done for the season, however long that may be. He is, however, expected to make a full recovery.
That being said, obviously, I do not feel comfortable updating Stevie until I know more information, such as if he even plans to return next season. With the lockout issues, I might not know for awhile. So therefore, at least for a few weeks, Stevie will go away. If I find reason to update him, it will come from his wife, Lisa.
I can still do administrative work for must_be_hockey
And with that, I will say I hope he has a full and speedy recovery and that I see him in a Wings uniform next season.]
