*Years* ago there was a multi-part magazine thing called "Real Robots".  Jared had it for ages and built the robot that came with it.  When we moved it got stored.  He's just found it again but is missing one of the cables with part 63 ( Read more... )

I believe some of David's and all my RealRobots bits & mags went to Zeborah - may be worth asking her, since she/they may therefor well have some duplicates...

What does the cable do? It may be possible to make one.

If you still end up short, you could try these people
http://suileabhain.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_10_57&products_id=324

who seem to have lots of the parts for the robots at not too extortionate a price.

But that kind offer is definitely worth taking up, aren't friends wonderful!

Dratted people won't ship. Oh well. I rely upon the kindness of... well, not strangers, but "dear friends" doesn't fit so well in the quote!

What? That makes *no* sense! They advertise as a shopping site, they are in Bolton (so it's not like it's overseas or anything) ...

... people like that should be made to spend six months without internet until they learn to behave properly!

Their "shopping cart" includes "You may want to add some instructions for using the shopping cart here. (defined in includes/languages/english/shopping_cart.php)". Under "Party plan" they invite me to fill in a nonexistent form 'opposite' (opposite what, the screen?). Most of the other sections under 'Services' (which oddly include 'Web Design' and 'Programming') are drastically incomplete. I somehow don't think that competance is high on their list of abilities...

Hi
Debbie does indeed have Djbp's collection at her house and theoretically most of our/A's collection too and a half made robot!... If your other offer doesn't work, I can maybe get D's permission to have a look through the cupboard and see if there is a spare... but it might take a while! (sorry, I couldn't reply earlier... needed to talk to her about it first!)
