The sunshine seems to have gone away for a bit.  I think it's struggling to make it's way through the layer of Icelandic volcano ash...  Still, it's a perfect day for thinking and writing.

Today's Lilliput Farmer post is about eggs...

I had a good, energetic walk at lunchtime with a friend from the office today, and got to catch up with what she'd done over Easter. This evening I shall be taking Alex to karate where he will continue to prepare for his grading next month where he will hopefully move up to orange belt. It continues to not rain and even occasionally provides us with sunshine, which is a Good Thing TM.

Received, filled out & posted back my electoral registration form. Got groceries for both myself and a friend in the process. Got the vaccuum out & vaccuumed the hall. Ordered a filing cabinet. Plus, here the sun came out just after lunchtime, so yay. :)

It's sunny down here, and I spent the morning doing volunteer conservation work in a nearby patch of woodland. :)

Getting the asparagus in at last! Now I've just got to wait 2 years to eat it :-)

Got a proof-reading job done for a friend, and realised as I did so that one of the stories was based on a roleplaying scenario I wrote years ago. Someone I'd never heard of had found it inspirational.

What sort of risotto do you need a recipe for? Dave does a wonderful mushroom one, it's his signature dish.
