May I just add that the light programming was perfect? There was room and time for all the things one wanted to spontaneously do and still not miss the stuff that was arranged to happen as well. I loved that. And I have a passion for windowseats, and I got to sit on windowseats in several rooms.
Oh man. Wish we could have been there. I am SO happy that you guys had such a magic time. It was very very needed for many of you, I am sure. I guess we really HAVE to be there when you do it again.
It's a long way for us yellowbellies, but as a folk residential venue, I can't imagine that it could be bettered anywhere. It's astonishingly good!
Should you ever fancy doing a residential something, you've got to love a place that has two sets of wooden swords ready by the front door in case of dance emergencies!
Glad you had a wonderful time. And thank you for creating a space where music can be played WITH each other, not FOR each other! For me, playing music with others is where the fun is.
