What a day!

 Today, Tim and I were playing a usual Mini-Morris Co. gig at the Farmers' Market in Lincoln.  Liam and Frank were away, so Tim and I did it between us, and a lot of fun it was too!  We experimented more with mixing harp and melodeon, as well as harp, recorder, bouzouki and a few other unusual combinations.  'Twas good ( Read more... )

Well, I've asked very nicely, and may be allowed out in charge of a yellow high-visibility vest during stewarding duties at the Morris Festival. I've put in a pre-emptive request for the Bourne Borderers - yes?

Yes :-) My mate Liam-the-Unfeasibly-Tall-Melodeon-Player (Liam UTMP for short) is also Liam Robinson, the organiser of the Morris Festival on the 4th September. We're usually willing volunteers on the day!

What do you mean a hi-viz vest is not a fashion item? The thunderbugs certainly like it!
