Summer Meet-up - we possibly have a date!

I know the preference was for second full weeking in August, but my suggestion is:

Meet-up 6-8th August

How does that strike people? And any chance of a lift from Guildford (or company travelling from a similar direction?)? Cos might be able to get a lift that far. We need to fitx a date and get accomodation booked because we could get a discount

As for accommodation, I think there's a travellodge in Covent Garden, if not there's some cheapish hotels down near the Excel center.

If only we hadn't sold the car... Would be happy to meet up on the train, though, and a day travelcard from Woking is about a tenner with YP railcard. Guildford to Woking is £1.90 with railcard.

Only problem is, that's the date of a possible party - but since it's barely planned we can probably change it!
