I didn't ask for it to be over, but then again, I never asked for it to begin. For that's the way it is with life, as some of the most beautiful days come completely by chance. But even the most beautiful days eventually have their sunsets.

my new philosophy on life. be thankful it came, but know that it has to end sometime.

That's extremely beautiful and profound as well. Sort of passive, though. I expect you're actually right, but adopting that philosophy for an extended period of time is...difficult for me. I guess I'm a typical american: when they're not so good, I don't see why things can't be better than they currently are...

well i dont really see it as just a passive acceptance of things that come. im definitely still fighting for my life to be better. :-) what i meant with this was the i can no longer exist in a state where i expect everything to remain the way i want it to, only because thats the way i like it. things change, relationships end, and this is more just my realization that there is only so much i can do.
