Well, one more year under the belt, who knows how many to go. I'm hoping for better circumstances to arise in the new yer ahead, and to try and get things done I've been putting off for one reason or another.

Wasn't really thankful for much yesterday, My grandpa was admitted to the hospital Tuesday and had to be kept there over the holiday, so my family didn't have a get-together dinner or anything. So next year's Dragon*con is looking pretty bleak for me, all 3 of the main host hotels have sold out and I am as of now room-less. So now I either get one of the overflow's which I'd really rather not because it's way more walking than I'd like to do on the streets of Atlanta, not go, or hopefully be able to room with one of the few people I know ( Read more... )

Had a great time at Dragon*con again this year, not a whole lot of specifics but seeing all the awesome celebrities and hanging out with people I don't see much is always a good time. Not sure where the expression came from but apparently the canine immune system is quite insufficient. I bought my plane tickets to Dragon*con last night. I finally broke down and actually used my credit card which I hate doing. That's how the criminals find you, steal your identity, kill you and dump your body in the river! ... or so I've heard. So it's been ... a month or so since I last posted. Not much going on, got a raise at work so yay for that. Always helps to have some more money coming in, luckily I've been trying to keep my spending to a minimum so hopefully I can keep more than $1,000 in the bank for as long as possible.
