Turns out I was right not to have high hopes for that promotion at work, because I didn't get it. Again.

It's a shame, because it would have been a nice increase on my salary, but it's still annoying to be told that I'm not right for a job that I *know* I can do. I thought the interview went quite well too. Oh well, at least the guy that got it

Sorry to hear that mate but if it makes your move to London more likely then it will be a blessing in disguise, for me. You need to be a regular at Cage Rage shows for a start!

I'd love that.

If it wasn't an insane idea, considering I may have to fly to England two weekends in October anyway, I'd have loved to see the next Cage Rage - assuming they come off as planned, the top four fights look really enticing (Epstein/Freeman, Ninja/Weir, Kimo/Legeno, Berry/Broughton), and there's a bunch of undercard stuff that could be decent too.

There's just way too much going on in England to be living in Northern Ireland.
