Private to the residents of Gohl
[ Her voice is dripping with fear and worry. Uncharacteristically for Lucy, she’s even on the verge of panic. Maybe Eald’s act of being childlike with her has been taken a bit far - since she’s honestly been fooled into thinking he is quite young, she’s losing herself to faintheartedness. ]I’ve been looking for

There's some uncomfortable shifting, but she can't hide it. ...especially since she switched to video. Her fists curl up, pressing to her forehead as she leans over Eald's desk of all places.
Shoulders jerking, her voice trembles. ]
Bl...
Blood...
[ She would normally never question; but...]
...are you sure?

... there was nothing else with blood on it, only this. I don't know what it means, if anything.
[He shifts a little on his feet, and runs a hand through his hair.]
Something strange happened, he was here and then gone just like... like he disappeared into nothing.

Unsure if she really wants to see it, she looks at it anyway. Her frown deepens. It is blood, she can smell it - but what the hell happened and why was it so condensed to just the communicator? Not a drop anywhere on the floor or even on his desk. ]
...But what would cause that? Has something like that ever happened here before? [ Her voice cracks as she talks, but she powers through it - pretending it didn't and she's not looking weak. ]

Wh...
Who are...?
[ If Eald's managed to disappear while hurt - she's assuming the blood is his after all - she can't stand the thought of something happening to another one. Forcing herself to buck up, she takes a shaky breath and tries to sound as friendly (and not terrified) as she can. ]
...Who are you, sweetheart?
Are you safe? In the house?

But he's gone now. Not answering, not answering! Why?

You're right, Eald does say that - and it is.
...We're going to find out where he is, okay? So don't worry. [ Perhaps something she would take as a hint herself. ]

[WHAT. Oh we remember what happened when Ealdy went missing last time.]

I'm going to check the woods then, if they haven't already been investigated.

[ Her voice cracks and she trails off, pressing her palm to her forehead, curling her fingers tightly, clenching her eyes shut. Shit, how could she let something happen to a kid? ]

Still, she's stressed and missing someone she cares about - and is annoyed that she's actually crying for the second time in less than a couple of weeks. Damn the people of this city and being attached... ]
...Yeah.
He's... Just sort of vanished...
[ Come on Shaun, cheer up the boss. Nooow. ]

[ She lifts up Eald's communicator to her own camera lens, showing him the bloody print on it. ]
He's gone, and I don't... Know where he is... [ She drops her arm, so Eald's device leaves the screen, leaning her hand to press her forehead against her palm. ] Or if he's safe.

He's been gone for a few hours now, I thought maybe he was just wandering about but.
