I totally know how you feel. I have until spring 2007 if I can graduate then, but I might have to do summer school in between in order to graduate on time. And then I want to get my masters in history so I can teach at a junior college while I work on my Ph.D., so I can eventually teach at a university. I'm going to be in school until I'm like 30.
If it makes you feel any better, I haven't even started looking into GREs, etc. Putting it off because I'm already stressed out and anxiety-ridden enough as it is.
And I agree, I think you'd do great with a job like that, dealing with kids.
I feel that way too. But I'll be an undergrad for 5 years because I'll be abroad so much.
Thats incredible what you want to do... it sounds like you found something you love, which is the best part of all.
I will be in Europe from Dec 9-Jan 6. Going to see Emily Newman in London, my roommate Liz at her house in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and then to Toulouse to see Chloe. Chloe and I are going to travel around France and Spain, go thru the mountains etc, Normandy, etc... and end up in Paris for New Year's where two of my UCSD friends Hunter and Andrew are going to meet up with us from Frankfurt after they see Andrew's mom there.
I am totally going to miss you monkee! my classes at uci start again on Jan 6! :( But I will be in SD again the weekend of 14-16 for my b-day so we need to hang out then. Your euro trip sounds like it will be AMAZING. I am so jealous. Have lots of fun and give Em a hug for me!
