[At first she expects Miss Vanessa to yell, but when it doesn't come, she becomes slightly worried. And then there's rummaging and... SHE CAN'T SPEAK?! For a long moment Ada just kind of... stares.

Was she sick? Did she injure herself? A number of worries cross her mind, because no matter how cruel Vanessa can be, she doesn't want anything to happen to her. And you know she has to be worried to be butting her head back in so soon after irritating Vanessa so much when she first arrived.]

Does it hurt? Maybe you caught a cold...

[She knew there were a few illnesses that could cause one to lose their voice for a period of time. Maybe Vanessa had one. Not that that was a good thought...]

I'm expected to trust a doctor in this strange place? Who knows what their qualifications are! Or from what place those qualifications come from!

[Hearing about soul reapers and people who don't consider themselves to be 'human' doesn't really leave her faith in the medical industry here very strong.]

[When the video turns on, Leo has his face hidden behind a book so Vanessa will just see his hair, pretty much. Though it's very obvious that he turned it on willingly because his hand returning to grip the book is very visible.

He doesn't say anything, and there's no actual sounds, but.

She'll see that he's shaking. Visibly. And that's no fake suppressed laughter; it's real.

Ah. I haven't had any personal experience of the kind, though I'm afraid if it's anything like the other bizarre happenings within Somarium, the only remedy may well be the passage of time.
