[The feed turns on to an unusually disheveled looking Miss Vanessa Nightray. The top button on her blouse is undone and her face is bright red, but not from embarrassment, rather from very obvious anger. While the 'anger' part might not be new to anyone, she usually has the foresight to at least brush her hair or straighten her clothing before ( Read more... )

[When the video turns on, Leo has his face hidden behind a book so Vanessa will just see his hair, pretty much. Though it's very obvious that he turned it on willingly because his hand returning to grip the book is very visible.

He doesn't say anything, and there's no actual sounds, but.

She'll see that he's shaking. Visibly. And that's no fake suppressed laughter; it's real.

Oh dear god, this is brilliant.]

[She turns to the video feed, eyes squinting as she tries to figure out just what she's seeing. But the hair is enough to clue her in to just who dares to bother her. And yes, she's certain that he'll do more bothering than helping, before he even opens his stupid mouth.

But she waits for an answer. Waits for whatever pointless crap will come out of his mouth.

...And it never comes. What is he...he isn't seriously...?

BRB SCRIBBLING SOMETHING DOWN.]

ARE YOU LAUGHING AT ME!?

[It takes a little while before he lowers the book enough to peer over the edge at the Dreamberry, the amusement in his eyes very well hidden behind his glasses. Not that it helps any, especially not when he sees the furious words...

And prompty bursts into laughter, unable to suppress it any longer. But, if anything, it's quiet?]

[She stares for a long moment before throwing the Dreamberry to the ground and running for the door, with all intent to find this worthless servant and wipe that stupid smug look off of his face with both of her fists if need be.

Prepare yourself, Leo!]

[Oh crap.

Time to bail.

Leo ends the call, pockets the Dreamberry, marks the page and tucks the book under his arm as he takes off (snickering). The best idea would probably be to just leave the building, yeah. Ahem.]

[He'd better run fast, because she knows the two rooms that he'll be in right now - either his bedroom or the music room - and she's running furiously towards both of them to attempt to catch him.]

[Since when does she know him so well?

Sadly, his room is a little too close to hers for his tastes so once he exits it, he can see her-- well, what he thinks is her but most likely is, at the corner of his vision.

W e l p, looks like he'll get some nice exercise today. Sprinting the opposite way down the hall it is.]

[Hah! Spotted! She doesn't scream for him to stop, even if her mouth forms the words, and she kicks off her heeled shoes in order to chase after him faster.

She's got a lot of rage in her, Leo. You'd better run fast.]

[Oh, he takes off fast alright, skidding around a corner and brushing some hair out of his eyes only to see better. He's still got the book under his arms, because once he gets away he intends to continue reading. He should be able to shake her off outside.

No, that's not weird at all, what are you talking about.

At least it's not a heavy book, so it doesn't really matter.]

[She takes the corner as well, bracing her hand against the wall as she twists so that she can jump off of it and gain a little more momentum. She might not be the strongest runner in the world, but she's at least quick enough to at least match his pace.

But she's looking for something...something useful...

Hah! There! As they pass by a table in the hallway, she'll pick up the flower vase and chuck it at his back. flowers and water and all.

DUCK!]

[If he had more of a sixth sense he would have probably ducked, but alas, he doesn't. The vase hits, and he yelps as he stumbles, eyes flying wide in shock because he's not sure he expected that.

Crap.

This is more serious than he thought at first.

He manages not to fall, however, bracing himself against the wall for a moment even as he keeps running, although a little clumsily. And perhaps he should try to. Fix this somehow. So as he grabs a half of a doorway to enter a room, he throws a look over his shoulder.]

L-lady Vanessa!

[Then clearly he underestimated her ability to RAGE when faced with vulnerability. Though, the wild, angry expression in her eyes should be familiar to him, at least. He's probably seen it at least a couple of times

She stops running a few feet away from him, and her fists clench at her sides as she mouths the word 'what?!']

[Clearly he did. And he's very familiar with it, so the fact that she stops surprises him.

He stops, turns towards her, breath fairly heavy by now. Ow, his back. :|]

Is there really any need for that?

[The wisest thing to do would probably be to apologise... Except he's not one bit sorry. And it's kind of totally worth it anyway.]

[Was there any need for that...

Well. Even if she could speak, she'd still answer the same way.

She takes two steps forward, grabs him by the collar and very swiftly attempts to strike him with her other hand, all sorts of foul words being formed by her soundless lips.

She may have promised Elliot that she'd be nice, but this is a special occasion.]

[Well, he does expect that at least. And he lets it hit, simply because that's probably better than avoiding it. Best to let her get some frustration out, at least.

But then, he also braces his hands against her to push her away, which probably isn't the best idea. But he would rather not be held in place by her because that gives her more of a chance to just do what would push the boundaries even for him.]
