[ It was nice to see such a warm, happy setting. Morgana could only assume that this was what Vanessa's past holidays have been like.

But the dream slowly fades, and everything changes... Morgana is well aware of what it feels like to put on a show of fake cheer for others, but at least... at least Uther had treated her with love for the past few years. Though, that was only because he didn't know yet what she was.

She pauses, thinking of what to say as the dream ends. Finally, she decides against commenting on the dream altogether. If Vanessa wanted to talk about it, she could. ]

The cure. You've taken it?

[ It has been a while since the cure for that horrible virus came out. And Morgana had left a message for Vanessa in her mun's head... when she'd discovered that it existed. But it didn't hurt to make sure, regardless. ]

[stfuelly]

[It doesn't take much time past the end of the dream for her to wake from it, but the emptiness that she feels from seeing her mother's weakened face isn't the same as before. She's become more accustomed to it now, and even though it still hurts, the hurt is more easily masked. And yet totally got that message.]

I have. [She sighs in annoyance, shakes her head.]

Honestly, have they even figured out what caused it all to begin with?

Not that I know of.

[ But she smiles, because you seem to be looking better. ]

[She doesn't smile in return, but she's still trying to strike her mother's face from her mind. Still, she doesn't look horribly upset, just annoyed. Which is normal, pretty much.]

I've never been ill in a dream before. And now I'm indebted to that Vessalius boy for his part in the cure for it.

Oh?

[ She's actually not sure how the cure was discovered. Just heard that it existed. ]

Perhaps he knows more about the cause of the illness?

[stfuelly]

If he did I would never ask him. It's mortifying to think that I'll have to be grateful to him for his part in all this.

[She turns to look at something on the far side of the room.]

Back home...our families were at odds.

[secretpendragon]

If he helped in discovering the cure, I'm sure there were others involved, as well.

[stfuelly]

That's true...

[Sigh.]

I wonder what they will expect in exchange.

[secretpendragon]

Perhaps we could find someone who wouldn't expect anything.

[ She's well aware of how ridiculous that sounds. But... maybe... ]

...No one is that selfless. Especially after such a task.

[secretpendragon]

No, but it would be nice, would it not?

[stfuelly]

I suppose it would be.

[She lets out a short breath.]

My dream was broadcast, wasn't it?

[ She nods. ]

I'm afraid so.

[stfuelly]

...I guess there are worse things that could have been shown.

[The most optimistic she can be about it.]

... It is not too late to... [ A pause, as she tries to remember the word that was used ] ... filter it.

Oh - that's--

[She picks the Dreamberry up, studying it curiously.]

I wouldn't mind if Elliot saw our brothers again like that, but...that empty house.
