Jason is making me watch the State of the Union address. I'm already violently angry, and he hasn't even started speaking yet. Does anyone else find it wrong that the "special guest" is a muslim woman? Like "Oh look, muslims just LOVE me". I have to go break something now.

Here's the kicker: the majority of his supporters probably don't realize how much of a token that muslim women is supposed to be.

Nikki and I were talking about you during the State of the Union! We had a Lost discussion, and she was telling me your new theory. I told her that I had a similar idea about Mr. Eko and Locke. I read a spoiler somewhere that said that Eko and Locke appear to have a lot in common, but are actually opposites. I think that Locke is undergoing a degradation of his goodness, while Mr. Eko is being redeemed. In the Satanic Verses, the two heroes reverse roles: the good guy at the beginning ends up corrupt at the end, and the evil character saves everyone. I think Locke and Eko are repeating that pattern ( ... )
