Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan album is lush, like Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood. The new Sparks album is fookin amazing, it left me dazed. And here is my beloved Nelly Furtado with Timbaland.

Black Dice are playing in London on March 23rd. This makes me unfeasibly excited.
They're playing at the Electrowerkz. This ruins it.

I went past the cleaning products stall on Bethnal Green market. It was the end of the day. She was putting all her products away into dirty crates.

Anyone know any train ticket inspectors that I could take to the cinema during the next week?

I live in a second-floor flat with no outdoor space. Would it be cruel to keep a dog? Bear in mind I will probably move somewhere that has outdoor space within the next year. I am available for walkies several times a day.

Just now, while playing Radio 3's Late Junction via the BBC website, my computer decided to crash. However, in its frozen state, it managed to keep one perfect loop of a really annoying saxophone tune playing. I was working on an unsaved Word document at the time and so was loathe to reboot the thing. I shut the lid, which usually hibernates it. ( Read more... )
