You know, I got the hunch that it has a little something to do with feelings.

Feelings are conditioned by society since early childhood. They don't exist in everyone.

Anger? A lot of people have anger? Like that deep, festering kind that eats up their soul! O-or, y'know, it just kind of gathers around them like this big feeling cloud of bad.

Do you have a giant feeling cloud of bad, Gaara. Do you.

Anger doesn't induce kissing.

I don't feel a cloud of bad. I feel...empty. It's a hollow, rotten feeling.

Would you rather have the biological reactions or the emotional ones?

Is there a difference? I know kissing usually leads to arousal and sex. ...The exchange of body fluids isn't appealing.

Wha--ah! Only if you're a pervert, or a hormonal twat...or Karin. No, see, the cold medical description says something about kissing being a reaction that triggers the release of endorphines, hormones which make one feel happy--arousal is also caused by that, if you will--but that's stupid, because if that's all that's needed, people would be kissing everywhere--for the sake of the preservation of the species and what not. But that's all bullshit.

Kissing has to do with liking a person, feeling attracted to them, and well, you kiss them to show them that attraction. And while there's saliva swapping and all, if it's done right, it's very enjoyable.

*thinks it over*

...I will try that first. Then we will continue this discussion.

Umm.. well..

Gaara remember when I told you that not everything in the world can be explained simply? This is one of those things.

Its basically like Sakura said, but there's different types of kisses for different reasons y'know?

Different types? If I kiss you, what would it mean?

Ahh, well see..dammit how do I word this?

There's different levels of kissing, the smallest is a peck on the cheek, then a quick kiss on the lips.. then uhh you get the more sloppy stuff and then tongues and all....like on tv!

The more intense stuff is for people you are connecting with romantically. With family and very close friends the first two are suitable.

You get it?

*tentatively touches lips to your cheek*

...It doesn't feel like anything special. Except for my skin touching yours.

It should be shared with your most precious person!
