Murakami is amazing. If you havent read it, I recommend The Wind Up Bird Chronicle.

Thanks, I'll definetly have to get to that one. I'm so blown away by the way he writes about those minature nuances of emotion. It's like he just decribed the details of life inside a snow globe to me. I don't know if you understand that statement or not.

I totally understand. Nuance is definitely the word. In Wind Up Bird, Murakami takes a psychic detective story and stands it on its head.
