Didn't you have a myspace ages ago? I guess mine is still there, but I never look at it.
Farcebook I'm rarely on either - can't stand all the little 'games' people play, and although Lj is just the same as it's ever been, I do prefer the near to actual way it feels like we're communicating, as opposed to, "Tanya is... deciding whether or not Farcebook is worth the effort!" shite.
FB also has major security issues, if you're not uber careful. For example, a friend of mine made a comment on her friend's photo, which happened to be of her young son's naked arse. Despite the friend having a 'blank' FB (you can't search for her profile at all) the fact that she didn't select the proper settings meant all the world and sundry could see her boy. I don't like that their default security settings are set that way.
However, now that I'm on it I'm sort of stuck - some people are ONLY on FB, so now that we've 'connected' I don't really want to sever it. Makes me feel trapped though.
True, it's easy to upload photos, but 'albums' have a maximum of 60 piccy's and if you're in an album and try to move around to see other things it's really awkward. But, ya, whatever! Join if you will, but you're forewarned! Fooooorewaaaarrnnnnned! ;p
Oh, ya, 'cause the other thing, without the ability to 'filter' I have to seriously ask myself what I want to put on Farcebook because many of those who have 'found' me include Braden's religious family. Yeah. And, what, I'm going to make ANOTHER account so I feel more 'free'? Meh. Waddevah. So there, another 2 cents for 'ya!
Facebook. My mother and coworkers are on mine, so I keep it clean. However, the pictures people post are brilliant. Several of my middle and highschool friends are posting pictures this week. Wow.
