Before uploading and applying for around 20 positions over a months period, make sure you didn't mis-type your phone number on the top of your resume. I had checked with the mindset of "Oh there is no way I..OMG THATS NOT MY NUMBER!"

i think the best thing for you to do would be to apply again and maybe explain what happened. yes, this involves swallowing your pride.
