I live stupidly close to my old school... (Yup, got a major scar while in college, folks.) As I was walking home, in heels and a skirt (Business class: needed to dress), I wasn't really paying attention to my surroundings, nor the elevated sidewalk. I stepped half on and half off the damn elevated sidewalk in my heels, and fell. Fell and got up so fast, no one really seemed to notice. As I was finishing my walk home, I felt warmth on my knee... and low and behold, there was this huge gash in my knee. Got home to examine it, DUDE, there were pebbles all up in my knee.
Now, both knees have scars.
