this is the first new year in like 20 that i have not woken up hungover! Instead, W and I were so dog tired we found ourselves cast in the lounge chairs, with a take out curry and in bed at 10pm ha!! and ya know what! i didnt feel like i was missing out on anything (another first for this party girl/pisshead)....let the revellers rock on i thought

That was my second best new years, actually. The best one was a couple of years ago when deathbyabsinthe and I hiked up Mt Fyffe (in Kaikoura) on New Year's Eve, watched the sun go down, slept, woke, watched the first sunrise, then hiked down the back of the mountain. Then we got lost. It was an epic adventure!
