She just killed her bf and has the audacity to stand in court and pretend it wasn't her own horribly bad judgement that left him dead.  She's basically blaming him.

I hope that ghosts really exist, and that he manages to come back to haunt

oooh, that would hurt... if I were from Long Island. ;)
I've got friends from there, whom I'll defend, but being a Brooklyn babe in Pi Beta Phi, and having to talk to rushees from Long Island during rush parties, where they would literally pretend I wasn't sitting there talking to them, and would look out the window or stare at the wall or something as soon as I said, "Brooklyn" -- fuck 'em. :-D
(I was always tempted to tell them I could beat them senseless, but I have a feeling National wouldn't have liked that too much.)
