OK, so lots of folks have balked at the price we paid for our photog (who is $4650 for the Vue From Above package, which includes 2 photogs (one with the bride and girls getting ready, hair, makeup, etc., and one with the groom and guys probably golfing or something pre-ceremnoy and the getting ready parts, too) for the entire day, as in, 24 hours

Rick's cousin Kim got married last September. Her brother offered to do all the flowers (centerpieces and bouquets) for her and her maid of honor (Rick's sister offered to help). Well, the did them the day of the wedding, and they were running 45 minutes late, which made the wedding run 45 minutes late. At the time the mother of the bride was walking down the aisle (outdoors weddding) it started to pour. If it started on time, they would have had a beautiful outdoor ceremony.

Yeah, I know myself, and despite the best planning, I always wind up frazzled just before a major event (ask Kara about any one of the 12095826 times she drove me to Dulles Airport with literally one minute to spare because I'd been packing and washing and re-packing until literally the last minute).
So maybe that's not the best idea. ;)
But still, it sounds CRAZY inexpensive!! For a reason, obvs....!

And since I lambasted you over the photog, sorry if it hurt your feelings...we got that exact same photography package for $1700 and I (having just financed one) know how much more you will be spending to finance the wedding. Just be careful. It's so easy to be swept away and as soon as the "W" word is uttered the price is raised 40%...

I actually made a 2-week trial run with weddingwindow, and the only thing that really turned me off about them was that you can't loop more than one song. My family can barely figure out how to connect to the internet; they still think they need AOL for that (they have Comcast cable as their ISP)... they're not savvy enough to figure out how to navigate the site, find the button to change volume or move to the next song, yadda, yadda.... It's a little detail, but I agonized over my song choices for WEEKS before making the little site, only to find that it wouldn't loop more than one song: you can hear one song once, or one song eleventy-billion times, but you need to actively select the 2nd (of a 3-song limit).
I MIGHT be overreacting...
Me? Never.... ;)

I'd rather us not look like overdressed Travelicity gnomes. :)

I don't have a chance to look at the album now, but thank you in advance! I'm doing 102968093 things (ballpark) for my boss before he leaves town tmrw a.m., including rectifying problems with payroll (I love my job, I love my job, I love my job... maybe if I repeat it enough, it'll become true??). And I'm a shithead, so my cell phone is sitting on the desk at the house... so if I don't call you today/tonight, I'll def. do it tomorrow.
Will send you an email in a minute with a pic of the table setting I was thinking of (minus the ugly floral arrangement, and minus the TRAILER PARK outside the fence... wait 'til you see it, it's a doozie). :)
xoxo

Of course, that then 86's the whole b&w linen idea, but better to figure this all out now (and change my mind that many more times now) than later, I guess...!
