Better if you compromise and try to play with him from time to time. This way if you ever get into a fight you can have your elf charecter cut off his head with an axe.
MMm, yeah, not so much. I'm not into video games; I lack the capacity to sit still for that long for anything, with the possible exception of books.
But rather than work on the anullment paperwork for our wedding, which he promised in October he'd work on, and again in December when I spent 9 days home for Christmas, he plays EQ. Magically, he doesn't "have time" to finish the anullment papers (he has to write a lengthy, comprehensive narrative of his ENTIRE relationship with his ex-wife, from the day they met to the day the divorce was finalized, in order to apply for the anullment, which is a lengthy process. THEN, if he gets it, it's another 6-12 months that the Catholic Church makes you wait before you can get married. The wedding is 14 months away... he's on borrowed time). Nope, I'm a 2nd class citizen now, and I won't stand for it.
I'm moving to Mobile this weekend. To put it bluntly, F**k this, I'm out.
I dont know -- getting men to do anything writing wise (when they don't want to) is a hard deed. I dont think it has anything to EQ. Perhaps its because he's not really into the whole catholic thing that its not first priority with him. Sit him down one weekend and let him verbally dictate it to you and you cant type it out while he says it.
let's be blunt and honest. men care about very few things. cut off the sex until he finishes his homework. then walk around in lingerie and stuff. it'll get done. shit i'd probably re-type a full length Bible if i had to after a couple days of that.

Just a thought...hide the game. Hold it hostage. :) I am more assertive than your other friend who seems very nice.
