Remember the Sex-demon AU? And how at one point Sho (and Aiba) found Nino naked, dead, and covered in jizz on the floor at the end of Into the Parlor? Yes. This.

I ♥ you! Wrist hurts (because tonight I have been a busy bee!) but I wanted to talk about Sho! And Nino! Sho does get kind of self-involved for a moment here. I kind of just write so if it's because he can't face the loss of Nino, truly face it, or if it's because he's human enough to focus on his own loss I don't know. But by the time he gets to Ohno, he doesn't care if he falls again--Nino living, Nino being safe, Nino having what he wants but not dying for it god damn it--is what matters most to him.

I didn't add this bit--because I couldn't find a way to end smoothly without going on and on--but:

The day lengthens.

Aiba continues to be gone.

Sho sits with Nino and rages inside.

He thinks, eventually, that he should move Nino, get him off the floor and out of the mess. Nino is small but he's human, he has weight and Sho can feel it when he lifts him. He remembers the way Nino's mother used to hold her baby, her little boy, against her chest, the look on her face. He has to close his eyes as he feels that
