5 minute sweet potato chowder

pulse blend cooked fresh or canned plain sweet potatoes (not in sweet syrup) in a food processor with chicken stock and salt and pepper to taste until the consistency is to your liking.

Add some heavy cream and bring the soup to a boil in a saucepan. Spoon into bowls and top each serving with oven-roasted pumpkin seeds julia

I watched Lidia's kitchen last night

all she did was put walnuts and some garlic in a food processor, then mixed that with ricotta cheese and parsley. It looked so good.

Lidia bothers me. Since I can't put my finger on it, I figure it must be a repressed issue with some friend's Italian grandmother who made me feel bad at some point while I was growing up in the Boston area.

Personally, I don't think this is "chowder" Chowder has chunky stuff in it. I would call this bisque.
