farscape 20in20 "John&Scorpius" Icons

My entry for the new farscape_20in20 challenge. All about pairings. Doing John&Scorpius was quite fun. If you haven't seen this show and the relationship between them, you do not know the beauty of sci-fi angst. I'm talking about some serious mindfuck. Maybe for those unknowing the icons might spark interests ;)

Yes, I was distracted by the prettiness of lots of other stuff but I promised myself I would watch one ep of Farscape today, so that's that.

YOU DID JOHN/SCORPY!!! I think I'll love you forever for that, cause there are like NO ICONS ABOUT THEM by anyone other than me.

I really love all the stuff you've done with this set. What strikes me the most here are the designs and compositions, those elements make them less like 'pictures of a certain siubject' and more like art, which is the right way to do iconing imho. Makes me really curious to see what you'll do next!

My favorites are Bottom (very cool crop/composition, love the coloring and the text panel), Top (amazing coloring and crop and it's so AAAAWWWW. might have to take that one with credit :) ), center (very cool with the border thing), Blendings 1, 3 and 4 and ac5.

I'm just sooo happy someone claimed this couple, haha! I mean it's in my username so obviously relevant to my interests ;D

Well, yes the name gave it away. I actually stalked your journal for inspiration a bit.

Icon making is art in a way and thank for seeing it like me and more importantly thank you for liking them.

Can't wait for the next challenge. Icon making has become fun again with these great communities and the great people all around, you included :)

Omg, if I somehow helped inspire any of these, well, that's just super flattering and awesome to hear! (although tbqh some of my stuff there is super old and makes me a bit ashamed now, lol)

Challenges are the salt of icon making to me too, I don't remember the last time I made icons that weren't for some community :D it's awesome how they make us do so many different things. The only thing I dislike is that there are way more interesting challenge comms than I have time for :/

John/Scorpius! Awesome! :D Love these all! Really like your coloring and text/font using! My favorite are croppin top, center and far away, blending 1 and 4, texture 3 and 4 and AC 1, 3 and 5. Amazing job! :)

Nice set! I especially like center, bottom and top (that one inspired me to do a similar one for my set, so thanks for that), blendings 2 and 5 (wish I knew how to do that), textures 3 and ac5.
