in one of the books im reading its talking bout the theme of winter and dark cool weather in english literature. it also mentioned the weather in english painting.

it got me thinking

people seem passionate bout what seasons they like and which is their favorite, but why? why does it matter? what makes us like those seasons and dislike others?

season get associated with emotions and favorite vacations
and such
Spring rebirth, change and animals going fuck-crazy and spring break
Summer with freedom and beachy-ness
Winter with curling up by the fire, snow, and mellow-ness
Fall with change tingled with meloncoly

also people associate their favorite climate with the corresponding season
so people who like cold like winter
people who like hot like summer
