degrees of hopefulness...degrees of hopelessness

i hope and wait for the future
but why?
how do i know that it will not only be different but better?
maybe because i know the past was good at time
and there are nanoseconds of happiness today
are these sent by the gods to torture me?

at home i drink and cry by myself
at other peoples homes i smoke and cry with other people

so how does life choose who we crush on
the person usually isnt the best choice in the world for you
or they are very random
and usually u can never be with them

take this as u wish (silly/serious)

i hate movies. they should loves that are always beautiful. they tell stories of underdogs. love is ungle and you can never have. you will never win...not matter how hard you find you - the underdog - will always loose. infact the harder u work (for love or whatever) the more us loose. i hate irony. it really was made for the fates' amusement.

days like today make you love life, glad that you never gave up. is there anything better than laughing over nothing?

how do u tell someone they are no changeing...and i dont mean for the better...but the type of change when you are lying to urself...i jsut dont know what to say...i dont want to give up on them but...i know they wont listen, jsut laugh at me, say im a goodie goodie...oh my life has been turned upside down or maybe its me?
