I am not doing this to "get her off my back", as you put it. I am a scientist in a place where there seems to be precious little room for such knowledge and skill. I would rather have something to devote my time to than not.

I know only what I have heard by hearsay, having neither experienced it nor had the opportunity to make a study of it myself. I understand the subject experiences debilitated physical functioning for some number of days, as well as psychosomatic pains and similar symptoms relating to the manner of death.

I would've sent you back to Martha.

I'm going to see if there's a way to diminish the effects or get rid of them all together. And you know, figure out what makes it happen in the first place. So I'll forward you all of the notes that Martha and McCoy have taken so far, and we can go from there.

I'm trying to deal with my dead Inmate and get him restored (after he set Hell Hounds to the Barge). Your Inmate, his brother, needs you. I need him to be taken temporarily from the infirmary so I can deal with Dean.

I absolutely do not see how allowing him to comfort his brother will impede in his healing process.

I'm keeping an eye on them. Unlike some people around here, I am capable of working and watching my Inmate at the same time.
