Brokeback Mountain

If you've seen the trailer on TV, Brokeback Mountain is the story of two cowboys who fall in love with each other. I wasn't sure if it was going to be a good movie or not, but when I saw it, it had a profound effect on me, as well as everyone else I know that saw it. It was an amazing movie. More then I can say really.

just a sidenote, his name is Ennis, not innis. Like Dennis without the D

I just saw the movie last night. It was really good ... I wished I hadn't done as much research ahead of time. There is something to be said for the element of surprise and the effect a movie has on you.

The first thing that alluded to it was when Ennis was a child, and his father took him to the scene of a gay guy who was tortured and left for dead. Then right after Jack's exwife told Ennis about his death, it flashed into a scene of men beating Jack to Death. I think Jack's father also said something about it.

i loved this movie too!!! i found myself forgetting that it was a gay couple and just getting caught up in the love story! you're right, it did change me! Ive always claimed that I completely accept homosexuals and outwardly I did.... I even believed that I did inwardly but I never really accepted the romance before now. Does that even make sense?
