35mm

A couple weeks ago i was struck by an immanent need to use all my old 35mm photo gear. I think i'm just over-saturated in anthropological theory and web programming and my eyes are begging for a break. Between the books and the screens i spend all my time staring at i'm afraid my vision is going to permanently focus in the 18-24 inches range one ( Read more... )

I miss the grit and texture. Everything looks to clean and sharp which is usually not how it really looks at all.

Lovely photo. I might make myself look like an ass if it is in fact a picture from the 40s, but if it's modern day, it looks from the 40s!

hey, thanks...

it's from a couple months ago, actually, in the little German town of Aachen, just over the Belgian border.

That Illy sign on the right gives it away... it's damn difficult to take a photo without a logo in it these days...

Excellent photo. I've been having such an urge to take photos, and now realise what a big mistake it was to leave my 35mm gear in Brussels! Well, not too long now and I'll have it back.

I can totally relate...I sorely miss my camera (that only needs to go to a shop) and being in a darkroom, it is relaxing..

that picture looks very professional
