[Today, Riku is bored. Bored and curious. What does this mean? Well, listen and find out!]

The Malnosso claim they're trying to find a way back to our worlds, and the experiments are their way of doing it. Now, apparently they're just as stuck as we are ( Read more... )

Glad I'm not the only one. It seems a little too good to be true.

And considering that they're still kidnapping people anyway...

That is a big part of it. Not to mention how messed up the experiments are. Especially that last one.

Not in the least. [They've dashed away any inkling of trust she may have ever had for them.]

Doesn't surprise me. It's hard to trust them after everything they've put us through.

Indeed. I question how some of the experiments they perform on us help in finding a way to return to our homes, and taking individuals then returning them near-death does little to gain them sympathy.

I feel like it's some lame excuse to get us on their side. Who do they think they're fooling?

What do you think?

Bogus, plain and simple.

They're probably saying that to lure us into a false sense of security.

Why would they waste so much time on that instead of just getting what they want from us? Sounds kind of counterproductive.

Because they're probably bored and sadistic.

Trusting those guys would pretty much be the most stupid thing to do in this situation. What have they ever really done for us either way, huh? I don't see how putting us through those lame experiments is going to find us any way home, even if it wasn't such an obvious lie.

Exactly. I figure it's just an excuse, and they do it for sick thrills.

And those missions don't excuse it, either. Sure, there are prizes. So what? It's an obvious trick.

Of course not. Why would we have to do anything for them like those missions? They're the ones that took us here in the first place, so it's just stupid to go along with it.

No matter the prize, I guess.

That's why I haven't done any just yet. Having an item that prevents shifts or drafting would be nice, but I'm waiting to see if it's worth going.

With the many things they've done so far, no, I don't trust them. [At all.]

[Oh, hey Ino. Riku's just gonna be chill here. Eeeyup.]

Pretty much. I might try a few missions at some point, but that doesn't mean I trust them.

[Yup, let's temporarily forget all those shenanigans.]

I'll surely try a few missions myself, just so I'll know what to expect out there. [It's called being a ninja.]

Yeah. It's a good way to break up the monotony. Besides, better than being sent out to war again or turned into a kitten.

[No, he hasn't had that happen. It's just an example.]
