The Malnosso claim they're trying to find a way back to our worlds, and the experiments are their way of doing it. Now, apparently they're just as stuck as we are

Doesn't surprise me. It's hard to trust them after everything they've put us through.

Indeed. I question how some of the experiments they perform on us help in finding a way to return to our homes, and taking individuals then returning them near-death does little to gain them sympathy.

I feel like it's some lame excuse to get us on their side. Who do they think they're fooling?

Unfortunately, there are a number of villagers who have kind hearts, and may find themselves sympathizing too much with our captors.

Yeah, I can see why they would, too. Those guys sure like to make it sound like they're our allies.

It's one thing to sound that way, I would rather that they show more proof that they do intend to be our allies outside of supplying us with the necessities to survive as their test subjects.

Not to mention that those drafts aren't doing them any favors.

[You don't even need to elaborate on those, she was part of the one to the jungle with disastrous results.] Perhaps we truly are throwaway subjects for them?

That's what I'm thinking. We're expendable to them, and if we leave, there's always someone to take our place.

And even then... there are times when we return, but without our memories. [She's been told that she has been here before, but she remembers nothing of it.]

And sometimes we do come back with them. Hard to predict if people will remember or forget when they get back here.
