Troy and I were home in Rockford for the weekend. It felt strange being back. I slept in my bedroom and he slept down in the basement. Sadness. Yesterday we fell in love with a kitty at Petco. It deals with Christian leaders trying to make the pagans celebrate the Christian holidays instead of their own. Which is why Christmas is always December 25. Bunnies and eggs=fertility Although, Easter really is on the actual date because of all this fun stuff dealing with the moon and whatnot or something. Like the passover.

Christian leaders like the pope are crazeh. They think associating similar holidays will make people convert *shrug*

the practice of decorating and cutting trees for holidays dates back thousands of years to all kinds of ancient western and middle eastern religions, and it has not been consistant accross time. it's almost a common trait of a religion, a motif like prayer and sacrifice that occurs in many different cultures. it's taken to be a neutral practice and any symbology you want can be applied to it easily, especially with the evergreen nature of coniferous trees ( ... )

I agree with you. I don't really know when the whole zombie thing started but I don't like it, either.

Please be comforted by the fact that I am also a liberal Christian (yay).

I'm not sure now if I'm going home or not this April. I'm thinking the whole growing-apart-from-friends will probably affect me too :( but I think you & I will stay cool because we've seen similar things in a way.

And guess what, I sent that package to you FINALLY so hopefully it will be there by the time you go back to Doitsu.
