I just don't get it. Why don't they care that they're failing? When I give them a sheet of paper and tell them that once it is filled out, they have all the answers, and they still don't care. Some of them could really help their grades by doing well on this test. GRRR........

David wonders this every time he grades papers. He gave them their essay topic and some clearly didn't bother studying for it. I mean, they KNEW what they had to talk about! It makes NO sense. It's just pure laziness.
