I don't quite understand why it's so important that one be "edge," or more importantly, why it matters when someone makes the decision not to be. The whole SXE thing, for many, is nothing more than another channel to be part of something. The fact that the drug free movement has a catchy name and a cult-like following only makes it more appealing, if even for a short period of time. Those very interested in living a healthy lifestyle should not be interested in others who "sell out." If you're in it for the long haul, as a way of life, good for you, but who gives a shit if someone "loses the edge?" You're not part of a violent cult, you're bettering your life, right? Right.
