Construction started at 7am this morning right outside my window. I wasn't too pleased. Today was my day to sleep as late as I'd like. We have today and tomorrow off of school for יום הזכרון (Memorial Day) and יום העצמאות (Israeli Independence Day). Last night I went to a memorial ceremony at the כותל (Western Wall). Reading your blog has been on my "to do" list for quite some time. I finally sat down tonight and took a look. All I can say is WOW. I'm so happy for you and all that you are experiencing. Talk about a true education! I am especially interested in reading all you have to say about your trip to Egypt...a place I hope to get to someday. The pictures were amazing.
Continue having a great time and I can't wait to have lunch when you get back and hear all of your stories.
