Walpurgis Night is the most powerful witch on Earth right now. We have to fight it, or our entire city will be destroyed, so... we don't really have a choice.

Homura-chan will be okay. I'll make sure of it. If I use the grief seed I have on her soul gem, it means that she won't turn into a witch. Once she turns back time again I... I don't think I'll know her any more, or remember we were friends, but I can do this.

But if I don't fight Walpurgis Night, then everyone in my city will die. My family, and Sayaka-chan's family, and Hitomi-chan and her family... if I can still fight, then I have to, Shinji-san. Apart from Homura-chan, I'm the only one who knows what's really happening.

No. There's just us left. Maybe there are other magical girls in other towns, but we don't know for sure, and I don't think they'd have time to get here.
