One by one, it seems my family here is disappearing. It's unsettling, a little. Who's next, will it happen on the same schedule... I wonder.

[She's caught Ken in the middle of tidying his bedroom.
[It's probably a good thing she made the post now and not, say, half an hour previously. That's why Ken's tidying his bedroom. He's glad for the excuse to stop, though - and maybe talking about it will make him feel a little better than throwing stuff at other stuff did. Sighing, he sits down on his unmade bed, holding the Dreamberry in both hands.]
Mostly I throw stuff.

You know, what really hurts about this is... what happens is something he chooses. Knowing that things could be so much better for him if he'd only allow them to be... But even when I had the chance to talk to him about it, he's so adamantly convinced... it's like he doesn't even know how to consider his own happiness.

There's... not much you can do. Sometimes it's easier to keep your mind off it but it's still the same in the end.

It sounds harsh but it's something we all experience. We move on from what's happened and allow ourselves to grow stronger because of it. Whether someone returns or if they're been taken from us forever, we have to face each day with a smile and do our best - for their sake.
