[A recent conversation with Kairi led to her finding a skirt in his nest of clothing on Xanth's bed.
He was using it as a blanket, honest. It had just been so much simpler to bed down in clothes instead of having someone make blankets. But he doesn't want a repeat of this event, so...]U-Uhm, uh, s-so

[He's smiling cheerfully at the journal, even as he realizes he's rambled away from the reason why he'd replied to this post in the first place.]
But I have a blanket! If you want it? I'm not really using it.

[But...]
Wh-- why aren't y-you using it?
[It gets chilly in this Keep at night!]

[There's a brief pause as it takes him a moment to remember that, right, people don't automatically know who he is and why he wouldn't be using a blanket. He's still adjusting to not being at the mansion.]
Oh! I don't need it. The cold doesn't bother me at all.

W-Well, if-- i-if you're sure, I-I could-- c-come pick it up?

Sure! Uh, my room thing's number 4153. I'll leave the door open.

[With that, he closes his book and makes his journey upwards. One flight of stairs, two flights, three...
And then he's looking down the halls, searching until he finds the one open door. He gives it a quick rap with one hand.]
H--Hello?

Hey! You must be blanket-guy. Come on in, I've got it right here.
[He moves over to his bed, where the blanket is folded neatly at the foot.]
Or at least, I hope you're blanket-guy, and not someone else who now thinks I'm crazy.

Y-Yeah, that's-- that's me. B-But I-- I-I usually g-go by Xanth.
[He steps into Bobby's room, leaving the door slightly ajar, and goes to retrieve the blanket.]

Yeah, I know. If I'd known I was going to get suddenly rescued and deposited in a castle, I would've made sure it wasn't when I was suited up for work.
[He leaves out the part where work involves dodging debris and icing over rockets being shot at him in a giant, holographic room, but that's hard to work into light conversation. Instead, he cheerfully passes of the blanket.]
Xanth? Cool. Nice to meet you, Xanth. I'm Bobby.

Y=Yeah, the-- the whole-- d-dropped into a c-castle thing does t-tend to... m-mess things up, k-kind of.
[It does that every time. Xanth is, honestly, a little curious what work would require a black bodysuit, but he'll refrain from prying this time.]
There, th-there're some spare-- s-spare clothes i-in the, uh, the-- the c-clothier's tower, i-if you want to go-- l-look for some.

Just a little bit. The castle I was already in was much better than this one, anyway.
[Epic work, Xanth. Epic work.]
Really? Are they free for anyone?
Reply
Y--Yeah. But, um, they're-- m-maybe not-- th-the kind you're u-used to?
L-Like-- [he gestures to Bobby's suit] -- th-they don't have a-anything like, um, y-your-- work clothes. I-If that's wh-what you're used to, th-then, y-yeah. S-Sorry.
[Making the adjustment from t-shirts and jeans back into vests and button-ups and breeches was a little hard, Xanth won't even lie. He likes his t-shirts.]

[He pauses.]
But I'm going to take a stab based on the lack of electricity and say anything that comes with this castle is going to be a lot more medieval-like. Which is cool. I can rock the medieval look, for awhile.
[Until he's back home is left unspoken.]

S-So, uh, you-- y-you're pretty new, th-then?

Yeah, I am. I've only been here for two days, actually. Little less. It's weird, being the new guy. Not a role I've been in for a really long time.
