Lilly was again pondering going out and getting herself into some kind of fun or mischief in order to get out of this down and depressing mood of hers. She had woken up today with a slight headache from drinking so much vodka, and only a bare minimum of a memory of the night before

Millie stood outside of Lily's door, gathering up all of her courage. She had to do this. It was the only right thing to do. Lily had broken up with Logan because of her and she had to try to fix it.

She took a deep breath and knocked on ther door.

Lilly didn't even poke her head out of the closet.

"It's open," she yelled.

One of these days, she would learn to check who was there before inviting people into the room.

That day was obviously not today.

Millie took another deep breath and opened the door. "Lily," she said, a little shakily. "I need to talk to you."

Hearing her voice, Lilly froze. She counted to ten and then poked her head out of the closet.

"Hey, Millie," she said with a grin. "I'm just cleaning out my closet. It helps me think." No it doesn't. "Have a seat and feel free." She poked her head back into the closet.
