Look, she wanted Logan back, but she did care about Millie.

Millie hesitated, then stepped inside. "I can't find him anywhere. I saw him for a bit on Monday, but I fell asleep and he brought me back to my own room and left me there. And I haven't been able to find him since."

No way was Lilly telling Millie that Logan had been here with them for awhile yesterday then.

Millie shook her head. "Not really. He had odd brownies that made one tall and I had one and don't really remember much. Proudfoot said he brought me to the room and tucked me in and then left."

She swallowed hard, feeling so awkward talking about this with Lily. "We... I have not slept in my own room since... until he went away and I thought when he came back..."

Lilly gave her a gentle hug -- what else did one do in this situation? - and shook her head.

"I don't know what to say to all of that, but if I see him, I'll make sure he finds you."

"Thank you," Millie said, throat feeling incredibly tight. "But maybe... maybe he just does not... maybe I have made too many mistakes and..."

She ducked her head and turned to go.

She wasn't about to tell Lily about Dean - even if that might be why Logan was avoiding her - but all of the other things.

"I don't say things right and I don't understand all the... slang?" Millie said quietly. "And I always seem to get things wrong. I didn't understand that different people have different rules and beliefs about things. Perhaps he is tired of always having to explain."
