I'd never even thought about it until I was at Tiffany's this past weekend and we watched it and she was like, "See, any normal woman would've just stayed at the wall, trying to get back to him" and it was like a lightbulb moment XD

Even though she's just a fictional character, it's so hard to imagine how hurt Rose had to have been when they were separated it. It's like death. You are never going to see this person again and there is nothing you can do about it. Except hope for an afterlife. Or in her case, some serious wrangling of dimensions.

Oh, it's definitely painful even trying to imagine how Rose has to feel after they're separated. There's a part of me that would have loved to have seen how Rose coped between Pete saving her and the Doctor calling her to Bad Wolf Bay.
